I dropped my iPhone 13 Pro onto a tiled floor yesterday. While the screen did not crack, Face ID now fails every time I attempt to unlock or setup my biometrics. It keeps giving the guidance error message "Move iPhone a little higher or lower" or "Face ID Is Not Available".

Is this caused by a misaligned TrueDepth dot projector lens, a cracked optical prism, or flex cable trace separation? Can this hardware fault be repaired via micro-soldering or dot projector flex replacement without losing native TrueTone and Face ID pairing? Check our iPhone Hardware Architecture Guide for details.
